Just like reading a book, they start at the top left. What do you suppose happens? They tend to click on those links at the top of the page! No surprise there, right?

Doesn't it follow then, that you will probably get more business if you are prominent on the search results page, or if your company is displayed on the Local Maps page? Of course! Because being on page two just won't help you much.
